abigail gore is part of my forever project, end of the valley -- specifically in the work 'warning: anodyre'. the seedy business of war stands its apparatus, steering her home, 'the shilohs' into becoming a nuclear test site. as the denizens are whittled from resources and her 9-5 can't keep the lights on, she hitches a ride with a customer: a quiet, cautered trucker who had abandoned her family to nurse her wounds.
